I have to recognize and praise the service that I recently got from Jeremy with Gateway Garage Door Services. We had a cable break which rendered the door inoperable. My wife’s car was in the garage and she had an appointment in a couple hours, so we called Jeremy. I explained the situation to him and he said no problem, he was finishing up a job and said he would be at our place within 90 minutes. Jeremy arrived ahead of his 90 minute window, he looked at the issue and immediately started correcting it. It only took him a few minutes to repair it and get it back in working order. I truly appreciate a repair service that does exactly what they said they would do and shows up when they say, or in this case ahead of schedule. So I will fast forward a few weeks, I called him and inquired about a couple of new garage doors (insulated) as our doors are old, we have a 3 car garage so that meant 2 new doors. Jeremy gave me the quote as asked however it was not in the budget. However Jeremy said my doors were in great shape and he suggested that if they were his doors he would insulate them both, replace the rollers as well as the weatherstripping on the bottom of the doors. So I asked him what that would cost? Jeremy got back with me within an hour and gave me a great quote for the work. I gave him the go ahead to do the work and asked for a timeline, he said he was booked for the next 2 weeks, I said no worries and please schedule the work. Jeremy called me a couple days before the work and said he was picking up the supplies the next day and would be out to take care of our doors. Jeremy is a hard worker and very knowledgeable and skilled, he showed up again exactly as he said and took care of my doors. He installed a high quality insulation kit on both doors and replaced all rollers and both weatherstrips on the doors. I am very pleased with the results. The insulation definitely was effective, on the hot days the garage is cooler inside and in those cold nights we have had, it’s definitely warmer inside. The difference is noticeable. Gateway replaced my 16 ft under door threshold on my garage door on Wednesday the day after my phone call for service. He completed the repair in about 40 minutes. After installing he adjusted the down door pressure to the rubber seal on my concrete floor. Everything works like new. He also lubricated the rollers. Excellent job. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! This is the second time they've come out for us. First time our spring broke and they fixed it fast within the day! This second time 2 days before Hurricane Milton is supposed to make landfall they came and fixed/rewound wires(I think it was wires lol). They came within a couple hours of being called! Best garage door repairman ever! I accidentally reversed my car into the door and contacted over 10 companies. Three of them came by and all said I had to replace the panel, quoting over $1,000. Then I reached out to Gateway. He assured me it was repairable without needing a new panel. In less than 30 minutes, he fixed it and charged only $100. The result is almost perfect. Exceptional Customer Service!! My house is 20 years old and right at the point that many things have to be replaced. I have had a hard time finding quality contractors. That was not the case with Gateway. When I contacted Jeremy it was 1:30 pm. He arrived at 3:30 fixed my broken spring,added new rollers and gave me a discount on a replacement for my 20 year old opener. The job was completed at 5:00 pm. He even cleaned up.

Hands down 5 stars! Our teenager drove into the garage door which left it badly damaged - crooked and stuck open! Based on the 5 star reviews I called Gateway. Jeremy answered professionally, said he was in the area working a job and could get to me next. I had no hope for an affordable fix. Jeremy Santo Domingo sole proprietor of Gateway Garage Door Services came to my house yesterday to replace a broken garage door torsion spring. His newly formed business is destined for success. I was fascinated by his thorough knowledge of the components that make up the garage door. He quickly assessed what was wrong with my 22 year old garage door built with extra horizontal struts to comply with Dade County hurricane standards.He replaced the broken steel wire coiled torsion spring with a more robust one that is estimated to last 10,00 cycles.The torsion tube was damaged with the diameter being reduced & brittle. He pointed out the 10 long stem rollers were compromised & I asked him to replace them with new ones along with the two Top bearing plates & 7 foot stranded wire wheel cable wires on both sides of the garage door. He did not forcefully suggest that I replace all these components but made me aware of their deteriorated condition & it was my decision to replace them.Watching him work was enjoyable as he moved quickly replacing the various components that we’re required. I want to say that I am not related to Jeremy & he did not pay me to write my positive review. When you need your garage door fixed, please call Jeremy. I can assure you he will fix it correctly. We had multiple issues with our garage door. Spoke with Jeremy late on Thursday night and they were out on Friday and not only did they fix the garage door, they secured our motor which had not been secured by the previous owner correctly. Jeremy is simply amazing!!! Went into the garage in the morning and door wouldn't open. The spring had broken. After calls to the big guys, one of them referred me to Jeremy. Boy, am I glad they did! He was able to come out same day and make the repair and even tune up other items and charged me way less than the big guys wanted for an emergency call! Thank you soooo much!!!

I can’t recommend Gateway Garage Doors enough! The customer service and quality of work is top notch! I had an emergency recently where my garage door got jammed with both cars inside. I called Gateway at 7:00 pm and told them my situation and that I needed to be able to get the cars out the next morning. That came out that evening and did an amazing job. I recommend them highly!!

Excellent service. I contacted Jeremy this afternoon and got an immediate response. We were having some issues with our garage door opener and he said he could come by this evening. On a Friday night no less! He pointed out the problems and explained what he recommended. He ran out to get the new motor, came back and completed the whole job tonight. Everything works great and is a big improvement over our old door opener. Pricing was reasonable and he did excellent work. I would definitely recommend Jeremy and this company. Thanks!
