My garage door wasn’t working properly for the past few months and I saw a Facebook post of someone else looking for help. Gateway had commented and I hopped on to ask for their help, too. Jeremy showed up exactly when he said he would - which was after working hours - with a truck full of equipment. The estimate was free and he immediately fixed my garage AND gave us some fancy new equipment so we can open it from our phones! 10/10, super happy.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could! This is the second time they've come out for us. First time our spring broke and they fixed it fast within the day! This second time 2 days before Hurricane Milton is supposed to make landfall they came and fixed/rewound wires(I think it was wires lol). They came within a couple hours of being called! Extremely polite and knowledgeable.

Jeremy was quick to responded to our needs and worked hard to get the right equipment needed which required several trips to suppliers to find the exact part. During that process he kept us informed so we could plan our day. Jeremy worked late into the day to ensure our door was fixed the same day! A+ experience! As a potential customer reading reviews you probably wanna know if Jeremy's customer service is good, the product and prices even better, and is he easy to work with? For me the answers are: Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! He's a sweetie-pie and very pleasant to work with. Not to mention knowledgeable, quick, fast, and efficient with his installs. This is key - he even cleans up the worksite after he's done!! Every time I've called Jeremy, he's answered. My sensors got off kilter a couple months after install and he guided me through. Garage came off the tracks and end up bending a little bit. I was worried I would be a situation where I'd not only need to pay for the spring/track repair, but also purchase a new door. Hands down 5 stars! Our teenager drove into the garage door which left it badly damaged - crooked and stuck open! Based on the 5 star reviews I called Gateway. Jeremy answered professionally, said he was in the area working a job and could get to me next. I had no hope for an affordable fix. The door was completely off track and the metal track was twisted badly. Jeremy showed up, swiftly jumped out of his truck, came to the door with ladder and parts in hand. I am amazed at what he did to fix it. He saved me from replacing any panels and got everything back on track within an hour! Best part is that Gateway was priced fair and reasonable. Jeremy Santo Domingo sole proprietor of Gateway Garage Door Services came to my house yesterday to replace a broken garage door torsion spring. His newly formed business is destined for success. I was fascinated by his thorough knowledge of the components that make up the garage door. He quickly assessed what was wrong with my 22 year old garage door built with extra horizontal struts to comply with Dade County hurricane standards.He replaced the broken steel wire coiled torsion spring with a more robust one that is estimated to last 10,00 cycles.The torsion tube was damaged with the diameter being reduced & brittle. He pointed out the 10 long stem rollers were compromised & I asked him to replace them with new ones along with the two Top bearing plates & 7 foot stranded wire wheel cable wires on both sides of the garage door. He did not forcefully suggest that I replace all these components but made me aware of their deteriorated condition & it was my decision to replace them.Watching him work was enjoyable as he moved quickly replacing the various components that we’re required. I want to say that I am not related to Jeremy & he did not pay me to write my positive review. When you need your garage door fixed, please call Jeremy. I can assure you he will fix it correctly. Exceptional Customer Service!! My house is 20 years old and right at the point that many things have to be replaced. I have had a hard time finding quality contractors. That was not the case with Gateway. When I contacted Jeremy it was 1:30 pm. He arrived at 3:30 fixed my broken spring,added new rollers and gave me a discount on a replacement for my 20 year old opener. The job was completed at 5:00 pm. He even cleaned up.
