I'd give them 10 stars if I could! This is the second time they've come out for us. First time our spring broke and they fixed it fast within the day! This second time 2 days before Hurricane Milton is supposed to make landfall they came and fixed/rewound wires(I think it was wires lol). They came within a couple hours of being called! Exceptional Customer Service!! My house is 20 years old and right at the point that many things have to be replaced. I have had a hard time finding quality contractors. That was not the case with Gateway. When I contacted Jeremy it was 1:30 pm. He arrived at 3:30 fixed my broken spring,added new rollers and gave me a discount on a replacement for my 20 year old opener. The job was completed at 5:00 pm. He even cleaned up.

I have to recognize and praise the service that I recently got from Jeremy with Gateway Garage Door Services. We had a cable break which rendered the door inoperable. My wife’s car was in the garage and she had an appointment in a couple hours, so we called Jeremy. I explained the situation to him and he said no problem, he was finishing up a job and said he would be at our place within 90 minutes. Jeremy arrived ahead of his 90 minute window, he looked at the issue and immediately started correcting it. It only took him a few minutes to repair it and get it back in working order. I truly appreciate a repair service that does exactly what they said they would do and shows up when they say, or in this case ahead of schedule. So I will fast forward a few weeks, I called him and inquired about a couple of new garage doors (insulated) as our doors are old, we have a 3 car garage so that meant 2 new doors. Jeremy gave me the quote as asked however it was not in the budget. However Jeremy said my doors were in great shape and he suggested that if they were his doors he would insulate them both, replace the rollers as well as the weatherstripping on the bottom of the doors. So I asked him what that would cost? Jeremy got back with me within an hour and gave me a great quote for the work. I gave him the go ahead to do the work and asked for a timeline, he said he was booked for the next 2 weeks, I said no worries and please schedule the work. Jeremy called me a couple days before the work and said he was picking up the supplies the next day and would be out to take care of our doors. Jeremy is a hard worker and very knowledgeable and skilled, he showed up again exactly as he said and took care of my doors. He installed a high quality insulation kit on both doors and replaced all rollers and both weatherstrips on the doors. I am very pleased with the results. The insulation definitely was effective, on the hot days the garage is cooler inside and in those cold nights we have had, it’s definitely warmer inside. The difference is noticeable. Hands down 5 stars! Our teenager drove into the garage door which left it badly damaged - crooked and stuck open! Based on the 5 star reviews I called Gateway. Jeremy Santo Domingo sole proprietor of Gateway Garage Door Services came to my house yesterday to replace a broken garage door torsion spring. His newly formed business is destined for success. I was fascinated by his thorough knowledge of the components that make up the garage door. He quickly assessed what was wrong with my 22 year old garage door built with extra horizontal struts to comply with Dade County hurricane standards.He replaced the broken steel wire coiled torsion spring with a more robust one that is estimated to last 10,00 cycles.The torsion tube was damaged with the diameter being reduced & brittle. He pointed out the 10 long stem rollers were compromised & I asked him to replace them with new ones along with the two Top bearing plates & 7 foot stranded wire wheel cable wires on both sides of the garage door. He did not forcefully suggest that I replace all these components but made me aware of their deteriorated condition & it was my decision to replace them.Watching him work was enjoyable as he moved quickly replacing the various components that we’re required. I want to say that I am not related to Jeremy & he did not pay me to write my positive review. When you need your garage door fixed, please call Jeremy. I can assure you he will fix it correctly. I’ll sum it up: Efficient. Punctual. Friendly. Communication. Jeremy was able to get me in same day! My car was held hostage in my garage for a few days due to the torsion spring breaking. I had a very very heavy double wooden door. There was no way I could get my car out. I needed help quick. I asked around. Found him. He responded promptly. He arrived when expected.
